I really enjoyed the overhauled anti-gravity system from DS2 rather than the akwardness of jumping from point to point and I also prefer the ease of reloading, healing, stasis etc in the 2023 version. In conclusion, I would absolutely play this game however you can get ahold of it. Dead Space Remake: The only things I dislike. The remake has so many improvements over the original (which I love too) that it might just be better for me. Never liked the OG for having a silent protagonist, I get the direction they were going with it, but when DS2 came it, its clear that giving Isaac a voice was the right call. The updated/ new VA make it feel more believable, Isaac feels like he's actually a character and gives feedback and gives himself jobs to do instead of being an errand boy because he is extremely intelligent and feels like he's a genuine space engineer.
Necromorphs feel more authentic, the music, sounds, lighting and the Intensity director makes it far superior to the original. I would be happy with them continuing with DS2 and 3 and remaking them too. Dead Space remake crashing issue (PC) Every time I load up the Remake on pc, it crashes and cant play it for more than two minutes without it doing this.

I intentionally paid full price for the deluxe in support of this franchise. Many of the mechanical changes will go largely unnoticed by the average player, but they do wonders to bring this classic back in line with its contemporaries. I knew where I was going for some parts, but others were new and I got lost frequently. 2023s Dead Space remake masterfully treads the line between doing too little and too much to revitalize a game that has aged so well.
